Born in Indiana and raised in Washington, D.C., Tony discovered his love for music at an early age. Growing up in a musically inclined family, he was exposed to various genres, but it was the mesmerizing sounds of jazz that truly captivated him. Recognizing his talent and dedication, Tony pursued formal music education on scholarship at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, where he graduated with honors and studied with renowned teachers like Mick Goodrick and Hal Crook, honed his skills, and expanded his musical horizons.
After graduating from Berklee, Tony embarked on a remarkable journey as a professional jazz guitarist. He quickly established himself as a sought-after session musician, collaborating with renowned artists and bands, and showcasing his exceptional talent on studio recordings.
Tony's unique style and technical prowess has garnered critical acclaim and captivated audiences worldwide. His mastery of the instrument, combined with a deep understanding of jazz theory and composition, has allowed him to push the boundaries of traditional jazz guitar playing, infusing his music with elements of fusion, bebop, and modern jazz.
Throughout his career, Tony has received numerous accolades and awards as a guitarist. Tony has performed for Disney, ABC, Samsung, Telemundo, and WPIX. His breathtaking solos and intricate improvisations have been widely praised by both critics and fellow musicians, earning him a reputation as one of the most innovative and exciting jazz guitarists of his generation.
Continuing to evolve as an artist, Tony remains active in the jazz scene, constantly pushing the boundaries of his musical expression.
